Follow instructions in Config1.cfg file.
after config files for each node is set up, then run findnode as
described below:
findnode path\file_name
where path is the drive and sub directory that the config file can be found,
and file_name is the actual config file.
There are two files that you can create to display to the users right before
and after Findnode begins and ends. The filenames are as follows:
findbeg.inf = File prior to running findnode
findend.inf = File right after ending Findnode. . .
These two files will be display for all nodes and they must be located in
the same directory that findnode.exe is in.
You can use ansi if you wish, But also -- I have included an extensive set
of commands that will corrospond to the users choice of color or no color,
while using the same file, and place some interesting information and
effects to the ascii text file. Each line can only contain up to 250
characters per line. Below is a description of each of the @ code commands.
@NOPAUSE@
this command will not allow the screen depth manger to pause.
@CLS@
this command will clear the screen
@BLINK@
this command will make the text blink
@NOBLINK@
this command stops the text from blinking
@NODE@
this command will display the node number caller is calling on
@BBS@
this will display your bbs name
@FIRST@
this will display the users first name
@LAST@
this will display the users last name
@USER@
this will display the users full name
@KEY@
This command will allow you to pause with nothing displayed until a key
is pressed
@PAUSE@
this will force a pause in the text file being displayed. Informs user with
the statement "Paused, Press any key to Continue"
@BEEP@
this command will send a beep
@CLREOL@
this command will clear the line from the cursors position to the end of the
line
@DELLINE@
this command will clear the entire line.
@GOXnum@
this command will move the cursor left or right num position where num
is a number from 1 - 80
@GOYnum@
this command will move the cursor up or down num position on the screen
where num is 1 - 25.
@FILE@
this command will display the filename that the user can download
@DIR@
this command will display the BBS directory for downloads that the user
can or must join to be able to download above file.
@SC@
this command will store the cursors position for use with next command
@GC@
this command will move the cursor back to the save cursors position
@UP@
or
@UPnum@
this command will move up one or num lines
@DOWN@
or
@DOWNnum@
this command will move down one or num lines
@LEFT@
or
@LEFTnum@
this command will move the cursor left one or num times
@RIGHT@
or
@RIGHTnum@
this command will move the curor right one or num times.
@DELAY@
or
@DELAYnum@
this command will delay output for either 1 second or num 1/1000ths of a
second.
where num is 1 to 64000

This command allows you to change the color where num1 is for the
background color and num2 is for the text color.
num1 = 0 - 7
num2 = 0 - F
